Aloha, this is BJ Williamson and I would like to say thanks for stopping by the new BJ’s Surf Shop Website. If you would like to order a board, email me at bryson@bjssurfshop.com. I would love to make you a board you’ll enjoy for years.
Feel free to send me an email to bryson@bjssurfshop.com and say hi if you were ever at one of my shops or if you have a board that I built.

  1. BJ - the site is coming along!

i just want to say that BJ has built me 3 boards personally and one each for my son and daughter over the last few years, and all are awesome. my sone was his ding-repair slave for 4 yrs thru high school, so i am very familiar with his shop and his work style - you will NOT be dissapointed - you can not find the level of detail and personal interest he takes in YOUR custom surfboard anywhere else!

  3. Great site B.J.and it looks to be coming along quite well.
I too have enjoyed my new retro fish with a quad fin set up that B.J.shapped me.This board is very responsive and catches waves easily.I’m a 200lb man and my board is 6′ 2″ EPS foam 2 7/8 inches thick and the board surfs very well.I would recommend this type of board for anyone who rides a shortboard and surfs small to overhead waves.Keep up the good work Bj and looking forward to my noserider.

  4. Hay whats up B.J..No surf today and the weather is chilly I do not think the air temp will go much over 50 for todays high.Water temp is around 53 to 55.Might be a little bump in the action around Wensday or Thursday of next week, but until then models do not show anything very promising. Its good to have your web site up and rolling.

    Aloha

  7. I have a very old BJ (’70’s) that I found in a resale shop ($10). The board was in great shape but the fin was pretty ragged. My son and I redid the fin and the board rides great. It’s a bit short for this old man, but my son rips on it. BJ has always had the juice when it comes to shaping. My son and I are off to Avellenas, CR at the end of May. I lived in CR for a while and it has been too long since I was done there. See you guys at Surfside ( and if you see some guy ripping on a little green board…)

  9. BJ,
I know you are trying to forget me, you’ve made 5 or six boards for me and now I need a new 9 footer.
I am tired of begging, so who do I have to fornicate
with, to get you to shape my new board?

  10. Hey BJ!

Downed another CR trip this year, used the old-mans 7o8 board you shaped a couple years ago….stayed at a cabin up the dirt road from Lola’s on Playa Avellenas…for 10 days!! Surfed the morning and evening tide..overhead almost every morning smaller in the evening…cut my leg on the reel rocks to the left and outside from Lola’s….actually saw the pig this trip..But as for the board you shaped…it RIPS so that my brother has tried to steal it from me….In fact he made a trip to CR the next month and took the BJ board and a Robert August board..he said he never took the RA board out of the travel bag. He rode the BJ board everyday..Olies, Witches Rock, Playa Grande, Tamarindo (shitty place now),
    Playa Avellenas, Playe Negra…

anyway see ya soon BJ…have a great Christmas…be being blessed! Ken Bond..
